I was warned abouy this place. Most of the things are made from china w the made from china stickers still intact. The candles selection and prices would make any witch want to head to walmart. The dream catchers are all from china. The little cute silk bags too that take up half of the rear of the shop. The book selection is rather generic.
What really gets me is the crystal selection. It doesnt exist a few pieces of way over priced amethyst clusters. Some tektite they bought online that come pre packaged in little plastic bags. :/ and beyond that tumbled gem stones that are less than appealing. Most likely also bought in bulk from a foreign online store. I went in for a moon stone and white candle for a blessing gift to a mother and her new born. The moon stone I can tell you was synthetic not even close to the right color and they want 2 bucks. Give me a break. You wont find any thing you are looking for as a shaman or spiritual practioner. Its bad energy in there the herbs feel stale and seem just for show.
Worst of all as I get closer to checking out and I am searching thru the abysmal tumbled gem stones. (we live in nevada prime time for minerals and gem stones) i hear the cashier froan as the phone rings and rudely explain to a foreign customer her appt time. Which the foreign lady doesnt understand because the cashier to harsh and short with her. They hang up and she is really putting lady down. Grumbling about how she is stupid and doesnt understand the time change. The other lady agrees and bitch and complain for several minutes and that is really putting nice the things coming out of these womens mouth were saddening, as I am standing with a arm ful of stuff staring them. Finally the older woman comes over and asks if i am ready. I drop all of my stuff on the counter and told her I was until I heard how you treat your customers. And I will never be back.
The green man in North Hollywood is worth the trip if you need a real psychic or a meta physical item. Also the gem and mineral store on sahara by lv blvd or the gem show in southern California. Dont waste your money here. I think theyll feel it and go out of business if some one opened a good alternative.
