| - Dinner for 2.
- Ambiance (4/5)
Laid back but classy atmosphere. Sat in a nice outdoor area, though I would have been nicer if they had used nicer tables.
- Service (5/5)
Very quick, very courteous, very professional.
- Springer Mountain Fried Chicken, $24 (4/5)
Really good flavor from the brown sugar sauce on the outside of the chicken, though I wish it had permeated a bit better. Certain parts of the chicken were very flavorful, and other areas had less flavor. All in all, a really nice (and hefty) piece of fried chicken. The toast it came on soaked up all the goodness and was oozing with flavor.
- Southern Braised Greens, $6 (4/5)
Great flavor, though I found the greens themselves to be a bit tough.
- Blackout Chocolate Cake, $8 (4/5)
Good cake, though could have been a bit more moist. The banana was a very good complement.
- Value (3/5)
On the surface, the prices are pretty reasonable, but that piece of fried chicken ought to be a bit less expensive, and the braised greens also were a bit overpriced for the portion.
- Final Word
All in all, a tasty meal.
