I purchased two diamond & emerald eternity bands for my wife's birthday in February. After about one month of wearing the rings, one of the stones fell out. We immediately brought the ring in and were told that they would aim to have back in a few days as we were traveling to see family and my wife was excited to show off the rings. We received no follow up and when we called were informed that the ring had been sent off to be repaired because they did not have a stone in stock. When we returned home early the following week we called again (no follow up by Brownlee) to check on the status and were told that the courier would be arriving on Wednesday and if he did not have the ring, it would certainly be in on Friday.
My wife stopped in on Friday after no contact from Brownlee and spoke with the manager, Bill. Bill informed my wife that the ring had been shipped out and it would be 3-4 weeks before it was back. Needless to say, she was unhappy with lack of communication and poor customer service. I followed up with Bill by phone and not only was he less than helpful, I found him to be condescending and arrogant. He would not offer a refund and did nothing but make excuses.
I'm writing this review after the 4 week mark and the ring is still not back. Thankfully, my wife went to Brownlee two days ago and interacted with someone (unfortunately do not have her name) that was helpful. She took action to follow up today and let us know that we could get a full refund.
My wife stopped in today to return the second ring and get our full refund. Her interaction with Bill was what we expected. He never apologized or took ownership of the situation.
Lots of great options for jewelry in the area. I would recommend avoiding Brownlee.
