I'll offer up the first review for the corn maze of 2012. I've never been before, so I don't know how it compares. But: I loved it, and so did the three people that came with me.
It's a huge maze and definitely not too easy like I thought it might be. We took about two hours (partly because we were determined to find every single piece of the map that's hidden in the maze - you'll learn about that there). But since it really can take that long, try to go on a cool day, you'll be much happier for it.
The staff was great, the environment is wonderful (Rural Hill really describes it perfectly). If you have time after the maze, wander around the historic buildings for a bit. Or bring a picnic and enjoy an afternoon there.
