I get the feeling that there might have been shake-down/startup problems after reading other reviews. Our dinners were fine. Service was good, and the food better than expected. We were the only non-Asians there.
Had DanDan noodles, a great recipe. Rather hot for civilians, I liked it. My companion had the Kung Pao chicken, which he scarfed down like a starved sailor. Large portions here, and we found nothing objectionable and instead, quite tasty. It's a little expensive and Zagat isn't isn't going descend from its heavens and reward this place with its craziness. That's ok. We liked it enough to want to go back and try something else.
