  • I'd like to start off by stating that I'm a traveling Surgical Tech so my traveling agency put me up here/pays for my rent. So I really shouldn't have too much to complain about right?! So I haven't really had to interact with the management more than picking up a package. But they all seem to be very nice at the office. My apartment is on the first floor, facing the ginormous Lifetime Fitness on the other side of 68th St. My biggest complaint is how close the sidewalk and 68th is. I have never been able to enjoy my patio because every person that walks by I can reach out and touch it's so close. Not to mention my apartment is right by the entrance to my building so people are always walking in and out. If people come outside to smoke or are just enjoying the weather I can hear their entire conversation from the couch in my living room (with windows closed) and smell the smoke if my windows are open. There have been a couple of times I've had to close my patio door because it was so bad. I wish smokers would be a little bit more considerate! Also, the road is pretty busy and I can hear EVERY car that drives by from my bedroom. Then you have the jerks on their motorcycles who love to speed up (very loudly) from the light to the corner of Princess Dr. I've also recently noticed that I can hear what I think is the TV from my neighbor above me. I don't know why I am just now hearing it but it's kind of annoying. I've never had a problem with any loud neighbors to the side of me. Just the issue of the TV above me. Overall, aside from my particular location of apartment this has been a pretty good place to live. The pools are great. There is a 24 hour fitness center. I would say they could upgrade their cardio machines because the touch screens on them are terrible, but they get the job done once you get your settings selected. There also aren't any 10lb dumbells. It jumps from 5lb to 5lbs. Some of the locks to the pool or one entrance to my building are very touchy. I think they could be replaced. So I guess my biggest heads up here is choose the location of your particular apartment wisely!
