  • I came in wanting to sephora to buy a lot of skincare and makeup products but as soon as I entered the store no one said hi to me which I was fine with but about 5 minutes they were watching me like a hawk as if I was going to steal something? I thought maybe I was crazy until every aisle I went down someone was always down the same aisle watching me or commenting on something that I had in my hand. I understand the need to deter theft but in no way was I acting shady. After the same employee asked me for the 5th time I needed help and commented on a product I had I just handed everything over to her and left. You didn't deter a theft but you didn't deter a huge purchase.
