  • Some people complain that this resort is old. True, it is. However, I really feel that is part of it's charm. I have fond memories from the old days, and yesterday created more for the future. This resort has quite a few pools, a lazy river, and a water slide. Not too shabby! There are gajillions of places to get drinks and food, and the bar staff will take care of you. every single one of the staff is polite, and the manager of the pool area -Brian- even put my purse in his office. When I was ready for drinks by the pool, Heather from the bar staff found Brian, and my purse was hand delivered to me poolside. I must mention a handicapped plus that I noticed-there are chair lifts in more than one place and at more than one pool so that the disabled can get in and out of the pool more easily! As an extra bonus, Chef Caesar and his crew are professional and quite easy on the eyes. Yum! True, I haven't been inside a room in twenty years, but once you eat the pork belly with cheese grits at Ricos, and drink a fizzy lemonade while floating down the lazy river, I guarantee that you won't notice if the rooms are outdated.
