rev:text	This past Friday night was my first time ever going to Ibiza. The restaurant itself is cute but they sat us outside. It was very muggy and hot and the only fans they had were ceiling fans that did nothing but push the hot air around. I had gone for my 25th birthday with 15 of my friends and I can honestly say that none of us had a great experience. I had purchased a coupon on Groupon along with a few other of my friends. Now, on the groupon it does say that only one groupon can be used per table but we figured that since there were 15 of us and we were all paying separate that maybe they would honor them...well we were wrong. When the waiter told us that he could only take one I asked to speak to the manager. The manager explained to me why he could only take one and even though I though it was bs I accepted it. Keep in mind though that the manager was extremely rude. There were 15 of us...all of us spending at least $50 and he couldn't do anything about it? To me that's a great way to ensure that most of those 15 people wont ever be going back. I think the worst part out of the coupon catastrophe though was that one of the girls had a coupon from restaurant.com a coupon from a totally different website and they wouldn't let her use it. I can understand the whole groupon issue but her coupon was from a totally different site. Other than the stupid coupon issues the food was OK. I had the fried calamari, veal stuffed banana peppers, and some sort of potatoes. The calamari was thick and chewy/gummy. Not really too enjoyable. The stuffed banana peppers were so extremely spicy that I could barely eat them. and the potatoes also were extremely spicy. I think I only ate about 5 bites until I couldn't take it anymore. While there I also had two drinks. I had a white sangria which was predominately pineapple juice. Very sour...very unenjoyable. I also had a mojito (which is my absolutely favorite drink) that was wayyy too sweet. I pretty much went from one extreme to the next with my drinks. All in all I guess my first experience wasn't a great one but I'm willing to give it another shot. Maybe I'll ask to be seated inside and order something else.
