We had a pet emergency last Sunday and the closest place open was Banfield. We had to rush our cat Mittens in.
We didn't even wait a minute and she was being rushex to the back and put on oxygen. After a few minutes, the vet came out to me and said it wasn't good. She wasn't responding to the oxygen.
The Vet explained to us the prognosis wasn't good. They could try to save her, or we could humanly have her put to rest. My husband and I made the decision to have her put to sleep.
The Vet was very soothing and explain to us, she would either go quickly or they could give her an injection. She was suffering so we opted for the overdose. The entire thing last 5 minutes and mittens passed away in my arms. You see, mittens went missing 2 months ago, A wonderful vet out in Chardon found her anr scanned her. She lasted 24 hours before she needed to be put to sleep.
We aren't sure what happened in the 2 months she was gone. I'm just grateful she was found and that she was able to be in my arms when she crossed the rainbow bridge. Thank you Banfield for all of your help and knowledge. Also for the beautiful card.
