  • Burger's Priest has been blogged about and reviewed as the best burger in Toronto - but don't buy into the hype. Burger's Priest is located on a lonely strip of Queen Street - it is easy to find because the line up usually goes out the door. The menu is pretty basic, about half a dozen different burger choices, fries and an awesome selection of pop. I have had the basic burger twice and both times was underwhelmed. The quality of the meat is good, but it lacks flavour/spice and is pretty greasy (even by burger standards). The fries were good, but not excellent. Seating inside the restaurant is extremely limited, so you are expected to take your food to go. I guess for all the hype, the cost ($12+ for burger, fries and drink) and the wait - I was expecting something better than a mediocre burger. If I was in the area, hungry and there wasn't a line, I would eat there again - but I wouldn't go out of my way.
