VERY disappointed about our last stay over the 4th of July. I came here for my Bachelorette Party back in September and had been begging my Husband to come back!
We called ahead to let them know what time we would be arriving and that we were bringing our two dogs since we were moving across country. (California to Texas) It was polite to give them a heads up on our time and fur babies. When we arrived rooms weren't ready and we were exhausted after driving 12 hours, they gave us a drink voucher which was nice but it was 110 degrees outside and we just wanted to get our pups some water and food.
After getting checked into the room (one in the D Area which is an outside room) our Air Conditioning was NOT working properly. It said it was 64 but had to be 80 at best. Decided we needed some ice and there was no ice bucket... it took about 1+ hours to get that. I decided to take a cold shower AND to my surprise there was BLOOD on the shower tile. Like someone had cut themselves shaving and put their bloody hand on the doorway to get something to ease it. YUCK! Called my Husband in to look at it and he agreed and called the front immediately to have them come disinfect the entire shower. Regardless, that should not have happened the rooms were not properly cleaned. I understand being busy around a Holiday but there were plenty of other things that happened to us during our stay in which we felt awkward for bringing our dogs. I really had high hopes for this visit but don't know if I will be back in the future.
** I will say that the Bartender Melissa at Princess Pool was very kind along with the gal working in the Anna J Boutique! (Don't know her name or if that's the correct name!) Thank you for being so kind and giving us top notch customer service during our stay. ***
