Market down in your diary: if you come to Cleveland, you must visit the WSM. It's simply unmissable. Some of the food gems hidden in here, combined with the atmosphere, make it a must-visit.
The beautiful West Side Market is one of my highlights of Cleveland and in fact of the entire East Coast, Midwest, and Lakes region. I know it's nowhere near the East Coast but whatevs. There is virtually no Market better in the country. Comparable to the Reading Terminal Market in terms of how many amazing things are inside, and even a little bit less touristy. I could not like the West Side Market anymore than I do.
The best things inside are the incomparable spicy jerky at Czuchraj, and the perfect bratwurst at Frank's, and the wonderful crepes with a horrendous service at Crepes Du Luxe.
And if you get as excited as me about this place, then we should call it the Wet Side Market.
