Growing up in the SGV, I can't help but compare KJ to all the other dim sum places I've been to. I'd like to say that KJ has decent quality dim sum (and it's actually probably the best in vegas) with very high quality pricing lol.
Depending on the dish, it falls into different categories:
A costs 2.28
B costs 3.18
C costs 3.98
And they charge you a dollar per person for tea.
I've been here twice now, and both times the food has been enjoyable. I particularly like their liu san bao (excuse my butchered pinyin)
I went on Chinese New Year, which was probably my mistake because all of us asians decided to crawl out from all the nooks and crannies of vegas to get dim sum. I wish they had a microphone or a texting system to notify you when it was your turn. Instead, there was only the hostess shouting out numbers in canto and English; so everybody basically huddled around her booth/the entrance of the restaurant. I think that could be made much more efficient. Additionally, the hostess would lead the people to their seats, and while that happened, people waiting in line to get a number would get shuffled around. We were actually waiting at the hostess' table waiting for a number and we got cut by two different people who just interrupted and demanded a number. That's more the patron's fault than the restaurant's, but still it brought a sour taste to my mouth
