I generally go to the international Super G on Independence but wanted to give this one a try since they are equal in distance from where I live. I probably will not go back for these reasons: The produce selection is almost non-existent. I was pretty shocked actually, the only thing they had that I needed was Thai Basil. Something I purchased expired in 2008, which pissed me off because I had checked everything that I bought and this one had it under the price tag, sneaky!!!!!! The biggest reason being that this is only and Asian market, which was good for some of the things I wanted to buy but I needed some other international food items and Thai Beer. They may have had the beer but I didn't see it, I kind of gave up.
I should have read the reviews first and I would have found out that it was only an Asian market so I think that is my fault. So my overall opinion would be if you need dry ingredients for Asian cooking this place is good. For produce, not so much. I guess you could go down the street to Compare Foods, but I am a one stop shop kinda gal :-) And if you are sensitive to smell STAY AWAY, whew it did stink, but I was prepared for that. We will enjoy our Thai Curry Chicken tonight as a result of my trip to this store. Yummo!
