| - There's really only two things I like about this place: the high quality of the food and the rock-bottom prices! For example, I go in there today and big, juicy lemons are 3 for $1; zucchini is 4lbs for $1; golden-ripe bananas are 3lbs for $1; thick heads of celery just 50 cents each; green-gold avocados 50 cents each; flavorsome Roma tomatoes 44 cents a lb; luscious organic apples 99 cents for 1lb; and on and on and on. You don't need a senior discount, or a shopping cart full of coupons, or a Black Friday door-buster special to get incredible deals here. You can bet your bottom dollar on that!
As for the quality, well, that's pretty hard to beat as well. Imagine produce as fragrant as the breath of an angel; bursting with flavor; a feast for the eyes, tongue, and body - that will shake, rattle, and roll your taste buds with delight! You will savor the flavor with every bite, which is why I keep coming back here again and again and again.
And to the person who left a one-star review because he (apparently) shows up at closing and expects to be treated like royalty and waited on hand and foot by a small, family-run business (likely operating on a shoestring budget), you just go to that other place. (Which, as it turns out, is owned by the same family! Ha!) Listen, there's plenty of ingrates in life: protesting the national anthem, the American flag, Thanksgiving, and the like, but the rest us have a lot of gratitude, at least for this little gem in the middle burgeoning urban sprawl, and we're not about to look a gift horse in the mouth. Thank you Power Road Farmers Market!
