| - A very luxe hotel that will appeal to the very modern, very cosmopolitan women. I say women because this hotel seems to be favorited by mostly women, because of its sleek looks and feminine interior.
The hotel staff is more than great. One of our friends left a watch behind after we checked out, and by the time she realized she may have possibly left her watch, it was about an hour later and we checked out already. We called lost and found, and they said we can come to the hotel and speak to front desk to get another key. For some strange reason, the concierge didn't know that the maid service cleaned our room and reissued another key for us to check. We went inside and saw that it was already made up but found a couple of ladies In the hall who helped us. They were able to confirm there was a watch, and after showing them proof (picture) what her watch looked like, they have it to us right away. It was stored in a large ziplock bag to bring to security. We were so grateful because the lady was so honest, and that speaks volumes about her character. She could have easily said we didn't leave any watches behind and how could we confirm that? My friend wasn't really sure where she last seen it.
In general, the hotel staff was courteous and very friendly. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. We also had a beautiful room overlooking the city on the 49th floor. While the "basic" rooms are much smaller than the Palazzo suites, I felt like the Cosmo hotel was really modern and beautiful, and in a much busier part of the strip. It felt a lot more intimate and cozy, with nicer views and nice bath products. The hotel is much more trendy and has a very upscale feel. There is a lot of different restaurants and a really pretty casino. People here seem a bit more younger, like in their 20s and 30s while other hotels seem to have a much older crowd. It doesn't bother me in any way but it might be useful to know.
