Four stars for great service, food & Location!
My boyfriend and I came around 630 on a Friday evening to an almost empty house. This was a bit odd we thought - seeming to think 630 would be prime dining time. We had set reservations, but looking back it definitely wasn't necessary.
We started with the goat cheese salad & soup du jour which was butternut squash. These were both very tasty, but the goat cheese salad truly stood out. It was a typical green salad with a light dressing & the goat cheese was served on the side as more of a dip. By the end of the salad my boyfriend and I were finding as many random things as we could to dip in the goat cheese. I probably could've eaten a gallon of it - SO GOOD. Goat cheese lovers unite.
For our main dishes we ordered the lamb shank & duck. We both agreed it was more than enough food, especially on the lamb shank. It was massive! But, Overall, we both agreed we enjoyed the duck over lamb.
We got the creme brûlée for dessert which wasn't anything special, but was a nice way to end the meal.
