In comparison to other theaters near or on the strip this is right up there. Beautiful theatre, great sound system, cramped seats etc... What really bothered me and if you follow the comments you will see that I am not the only one who was annoyed by this.
My friend had a bottle of water in her purse. Now I know some theatres don't allow drinks or food in the theatre. After all it is not like a movie theatre. So they stood by the door taking water bottles that were purchased outside the casino as well as inside the casino. I mean why not take the $2.00 bottle of water, or a free bottle you got while gambling when you can pay $5.00 for a 4 oz bottle and $7.00 dollars for an 8 oz bottle in the theatre. I would guess that at least 96% of that audience had dinner at the Casino. Probably the same amount gambled prior to the awesome Bill Maher show, and probably 50% of the people were staying there. However if there is a $5.00 bill to squeeze out of someone the Pearl Theatre takes front stage. I an a local and bring guests to these different shows. My guests for Elton John's Million Dollar Piano didn't have to do this, or my guests for Penn and Teller. So sad. I won't be so fast to purchase tickets for the Pearl Theatre again. Also if you scroll down a woman named Brittney posted a picture of the prices for drinks in the Theatre.
