I'd been curious about this Alberta Big Rock Brewery/ O & B outpost for a while. It took me a bit to make it here, but now that I have it's now my go-to place in Liberty. Space has been well thought out, think upscale English pub. It's a brick and beam basement with cozy booths and comfy seats. Upstairs beer shop is perfect for snacks and Big Rock flights.
I have been here post-brunch for six dollar radlers, for dinner, and pre-TFC game havoc. Each day has a meal special paired with a Big Rock pint. There are happy hour drink specials and a brunch menu. The menu is pub comfort food. Snack list is tasty - everything from the $5 scotch egg to Yorkshire pudding nachos (for real, and so good!). Wings are a win as is the calamari with hoppy mayo.
The drink menu is off the charts with a good variety of beers on tap. If Big Rock isn't your beer of choice, they have Blood Brothers in a bottle and even Collective Arts brews from the Hammer. Of course, lots of wine and cocktails to strike your fancy. They could do more on the cider front for celiacs. Finally, Shirley Temples are made with their very own made from scratch grenadine.
Service has been awesome and attentive, and every experience has been a good one.
