| - OK, so check this out. I know I have been long dormant with the Yelp reviews (bad girl, BAD GIRL!), so to make it up to ya'll, I am now embarking on a casino-by-casino tour of my new hometown of LV, NV, and will include reviews of each as I tour them. Now, these will not include room stays, but just schlepping around the premises - eating, drinking, and checking out anything that moves or doesn't move. Got it? OK, let's proceed...
Review #43:
there's 2 things that you've gotta like about Paris: (1) the freaking Eiffel Tower coming up through the casino and towering above, and (2) the cute walkways, shops, and "al fresco" dining meant to mimic Parisian old city neighborhoods; the casino floor is surprisingly loud & vibrant, including occasional go-go dancers; I think it's a shame that the Eiffel Tower itself isn't a free tourist attraction, but you have to buy tickets or eat at the tower restaurant to go up the elevators; Mon Ami Gabi is famous for good reasonably-priced food and outdoor views of the Bellagio fountains, but a lesser-known option for the same is Sugar Factory; nice brightly lit hotel check-in area with many chandeliers; modest & uninspiring conference room hall; I'd give it 3 and 1/2 stars overall; best craft beer bet = throughout Paris, it's a similar, modest selection; not bad, but nowhere is particularly good, with perhaps Sugar Factory being best
