  • YELP 365 CHALLENGE 2014-(185/365) "Shania...Nuff' Said" What a great show! A lot of these reviews begin with "I'm not into country music, but..." Well, Shania Twain was responsible for me taking a liking to country music and was the trailblazer for your Taylor Swifts, Carrie Underwoods, and other female country artists who followed thereafter. Before that, I considered Country headache music when you had artists like Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Oak Ridge Boys, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, etc. and that familiar twang of the steel guitar which interestingly enough was Hawaii's contribution to the country music scene, Shania was an enjoyable show with an over the top entrance, (c'mon, its Vegas!) neat costume changes and stage props and her string of hits throughout her career. I will agree with some that I could've done without the selfies section in the audience, especially if you paid to see her perform, not take selfies with crazed fans. When Shania performed two of her most recognizable hits, I got goosebumps, or "chicken skin" as we would say in Hawaii, and Wifey was moved to tears. Shania came out in a Wedding Dress(No longer on a horse) "Still The One" brought us back to our dating years, and "From This Moment" brought us back to our engagement years which was one of the highlights of her show for us.
