  • This is a wonderful and quirky convenience store/deli in one of Charlotte's funkier neighborhoods. It's funky because it's independently owned and not forced to conform to corporate standards. Common Market has one of the best wine and beer selections around and if you're looking for something in particular or looking for a recommendation the staff is more than willing to help. Occasionally they have wine and beer tastings. I've seen concerts there and I've even had a birthday party on the patio. The patio is cool as well - 4 tables nestled in a quiet space in the back. I haven't eaten anything from the deli other than the hummus but I hear it is fantastic. Kudos to the ownership and staff of Common Market for making something funky in the QC!
