  • If you are looking for a new doctor in the Ballantyne area, look no further! This is as good as it gets. Ballantyne Medical Associates is a private practice that doesn't answer to the "corporate B.S." dished out by Atrium (formerly Carolinas Healthcare System). They march to the beat of their own drum, and it's a very cool beat. My new PCP, Dr. Jorge REALLY listened to me, asked all the right questions, explained a whole lotta things to me that past doctors never bothered to do and even wrote down the name of a book he believed would be helpful to me. As I look forward to my follow up visit with Dr. Jorge, I have developed a heavy/spastic (allergy related) cough and went to their walk in clinic where I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Bauer, the dynamo who started the practice. He, too, was full of information, explanations & after a conversation and exam suggested a couple meds that would help me more than what I had been taking (they did). Ballantyne Medical Associates also has a chiropractor on staff, and Med Boutique Medical + Laser Spa has relocated here. Simply fantastic!
