  • I came here recently for cake- a birthday cake to be exact. Instead of getting one cake, I got three cakes since I came late and there were no regular size cakes available. There were only the mini ones left. I actually didn't mind since I let the birthday boy try 3 different types. I was a little disappointed that the white chocolate cake was sold out but this just proves how popular and good this place is. The 3 cakes I got were: Ruelo Pistachio Blackcurrent Chocolate Earl Grey The presentation is superb and very "pretty" imo. The detail and flavours of their cakes were well-thought out. The cake was also not too sweet. Ruelo Patisserie is a little pricey but expected as I have been to other bakeries like this in Toronto. Girls would definitely enjoy coming here as the theme is purple and decor is very pretty. I have previously been here for macarons- they have quite a variety and I do highly recommend them. They also have high tea which is next on the list. For those you have not been to this place, treat yourself and give it a try!
