Home to UNLV's Runnin' Rebels basketball, Thomas & Mack is capable of seating just under 20,000 people. That's a lot of spectators! Thomas & Mack also hosts numerous events such as concerts, conventions, and my favorite- NBA Summer League! It's always a treat to come out and see my favorite team play!
However, this review is solely based on my experience at Thomas & Mack for Disney On Ice: Follow Your Heart. My family and I came to see the show this past weekend. It was an amazing show and I would definitely see it again the next time they come to town! The costumes were out of this world and the acrobatics and ice skating were just straight up impressive! I'm not quite sure who loved it more- My two year old nephew or myself!
Our seats were perfect. We were able to score four decently priced tickets on unlvtickets.com and although our seats were in the upper level, the view was great.
Three stars because the event seemed unorganized. There were plenty of vendors selling Disney merchandise throughout the concourse and of course, a ton of food vendors. There was zero organization in terms of lines for any of the vendors so as you could imagine, it was sheer pandemonium during intermission and even before the show. It's nobody's fault, but people were standing in line and in turn, blocking the walkway for everyone else. There were masses of people everywhere.
The food choices are decent and prices were actually cheaper than I had expected. Parking was a breeze and also free. I've yet to come to an event here where they charge for parking.
