  • I've been majorly procrastinating on washing some large bedding items and finally got the motivation tonight -- all the cool kids go do laundry on Saturday nights, right? Walking in, the place was clean and there were several staff members about who greeted me & seemed friendly. I definitely have to give kudos to the updated machines - typically in most laundromats the equipment is (at best) outdated but most of the washers & dryers here looked new -- fancy Electrolux models with digital controls. Prices were reasonable: $2.00 for the medium front-loading washer that I used for a pillowtop bedcover, and $4.25 for the large front loaders against the back wall, which I used for a king-sized quilt. I took advantage of the Yelp check-in offer for 2 free dryer loads, but otherwise it would have been only $1.50 for the two dryers I used. The machines were quick as well, so overall I was in and out in about an hour - not bad considering the large quilt I had (which I thought would take way longer to dry)!
