  • In theory, this place should be great; it's a huge venue with space for concerts, sporting events, and shows. I have been there twice for 2 different shows. The staff is friendly as well too; there is just a lot of disorganization. Both times I attended, not only do you pay to get in, you have a 2 drink minimum to pay as well. Ok it's not my 1st time to club, I get it, so before you even get through the door you have to pay for 2 drinks tickets (6 bucks a drink) Unless you paid for VIP seating expect to be sitting super close to everyone because you will see many rows of seats lined up next to each other, and if you are 6ft or tall, just forget about it, there will be no leg room, let alone room to put your drink down or your purse. Back to the drinks, you just ponied up 12 bucks for your 2 drink minimum and have your drink tickets in your hand, you head up to the bar, you tell them what you want, and then you learn oh that's going to be 9 bucks, WTF? My drink ticket didn't isn't going to buy this? Nope, drink tickets are for 6 ounce clear solo cups , which you can get well drinks , like vodka and sprite or some soda, I didn't even ask how much the Blue Moon was. I was a little put off with this whole 2 drink minimum not covering the price of the drink wanted, maybe instead of charging 6 per drink make it 9, then I wouldn't have had sticker shock haha. At both shows at different times of the year, one show was Rocky Horror Picture Shadow Box Show & the other was one of the best drag shows I have seen in the valley. There were a nice handful of people and the place was hotter inside than outside, which is saying something because it's over 110 outside. They do have fans running, but those are temporary, there should be a better AC, especially if you are putting people right next to each other. It was just hot and humid, and just plan uncomfortable. Also the times on the tickets are not the times the show starts and the tickets say to arrive way earlier then the time you are allowed in. You do have to go through a security check but in todays day of age, I would be more concerned if a security check wasn't done. If these issues could get worked out, this could be one of the go to places in the valley for events.
