| - Solidly average.
Stayed here in June of 2014. The lobby area is nice and they offer a complimentary breakfast until 10. There's a do-it-yourself waffle maker, milk, juice, coffee, muffins, bagels, fruit and cereal.
Around the clock, the lobby offers water spiked with strawberry, which is a nice touch.
Our room had an odd musty smell upon entering, but we got used to it quickly.
We hung out in our room until noon on a Saturday, then headed out to explore the town. When we left, we removed the "do not disturb" sign. When we returned that night, our room still hadn't been touched. C'mon, Wingate, some people get a late start to their day.
There is a small pool and workout facilities, along with a handful of conference rooms.
Not the greatest hotel you'll ever stay in. Not the worst. Not bad for about $100/night.
