rev:text	Violated NRS 597.510 by ensuring an estimate is provided for all repairs exceeding $50. Violated NRS 597.490 by ensuring I was given the right to see, read and understand all documents prior to signing them. Violated NRS 597.550 by not allowing inspection of used parts. Violated NRS 597.590 by not obtaining authorization for work that exceeded 20% or $100 of the estimate. Refused to provide a complete statement of charges or list of repairs made prior to demanding payment in violation of NRS 597.5705. Had vehicle towed. Not licensed to tow. Used a car dolly and required my husband help push the truck up on the car dolly trailer. My bumper of my truck scraped the entire drive over to the shop. That evening the shop called my husband and asking if he wanted a rush on his repairs and if so they'd have to charge him extra. Explained there is no rush. We were calling around still on what the issue was. After calling the dodge dealership they told us the truck was in a security shutdown. The system needed to be reset. They said the manual explains how to reset a security shutdown. "Put the key in the door and unlock the door" I called the shop back and the woman explained she had already performed all that and the mechanic had already started looking at the issue. She told me it would cost $85 times 3 hours to perform an electrical diagnostic. I told her I wanted to talk to the mechanic. She told me he'd call. He never called. The next day I am called and my husband is told that the mechanic had reconnected 3 wires that came disconnected. He also explained that I needed a tune up and other things I never authorized him to perform or check out. I never authorized him to diagnose anything as I was waiting for his call to talk to him. When I went to the shop, the woman behind the counter couldn't tell me what was done to the truck. She replied "we already told your husband." I replied "well tell me cause it's my truck and my money, not his." She informed me that the mechanic just left for lunch and would be back in 15 minutes later. After waiting I grew impatient and just wanted to pay at this point and get my truck. I asked to see an itemized list of repairs performed. They told me I needed to pay them before I could see a print out of the repairs performed. I requested to see the estimate signed authorizing the work. She refused and said she'd call the police. That I needed to pay or leave. She then accused me of being on drugs and being poor. Only when I pulled out 3 $100s did she print out a receipt. On the receipt it said "possible blown head gasket" the woman handed me the phone to talk to the mechanic. He couldn't explain what he did to the truck, or even what the dodge manual says to do. When I asked if he tried putting the key in the door he then started yelling at me telling me to go to mechanics school and that if it was that easy why didn't I do that. 1.5 hours later the mechanic shows up but refuses to talk to me saying "Let the men talk" as he stuck his pointer finger up and shooshed me. The woman inside started recording me. I informed her Nevada was a two party consent state and I didn't consent. She replied "make me!" Long story short, I never got any documents authorizing service. When I asked, the woman replied "the tow authorization allows us to fix anything we want" but she refused to provide me proof of tow, or signature authorizing the tow, as they are not authorized or licensed to tow.
