  • Worst. Hotel. Ever. After an unfortunate flight delay, my airline put me up here along with a dozen other guests until we could be connected to our final destinations the following day. We were all tired but patient. But I am pretty sure this hotel sucked whatever patience was left in us right out the window. We arrived around 11PM. Many people had early morning flights the next day. At best we were looking at 4-5 hours of sleep. The front desk lady...oh did she ever hate working there. At first I thought it was because another guest was being kind of rude to her about a shuttle issue. But after awhile (and the grumpy man had left) I realized she just didnt like people. At all. She slowly checked us in one by one. She asked if I would be wanting pizza (part of the layover process I think). Having not eaten for about 12 hoiurs I was thrilled. Yes! She took my airline meal voucher and sent me off to my room, saying the pizza would be about an hour. I was so hungry though it was worth waiting for. So I stayed up. Then it was midnight. I would be getting less than 4 hours sleep. I wanted on for another half an hour. Nothing. I decided to just get ready for bed. I put some pills down on the black faux marble bathroom counter to take. I filled up a glass, picked the pills back up....and there was a black, pubic looking hair with the pills. Nasty. I ran my hand over the counter and more hairs. Needless to say I was unimpressed. Tired (not their fault), starving (their fault) and grossed out, I tried to go to sleep. The next morning, at check out I asked her what happened to the pizza. She said it didnt arrive until after 2AM and shrugged her shoulders. She said a lot of people didnt get any pizza. Okay, because that makes me feel better. And really? 3 hours to get pizza delivered? I am going to call bull poop on that. I asked her what she did with the meal voucher. Because you know the hotel will claim that back with West Jet, even though they didn't feed anyone. She shrugged again. The final horrible straw is that she over booked the 5AM shuttle to the airport, so that one guy didnt have a seat. He looked horrified that he was going to miss his flight (he was one of the layover people who was in the same situation as I was). The rest of the passengers argued with the driver until we were allowed to squeeze an extra person onto the shuttle on the floor. Horrible service, apathetic, rude staff and dirty rooms. Stay away.
