  • It was cold and I was in the mood for coffee, so we headed to Rising Star. I decided to get the Cardamom Bomb which is brown sugar and cardamom latte, which I loved. Anything with brown sugar gets high marks from me! I did see a rather large dark chocolate cookie and got one of those also. I was quite surprised that it had a nice spicy kick. Very tasty. I thought the coffee shop had a cool vibe to it and had some small tables where you can work from and one large communal table. Also dogs are allowed. Definitely will be back if I'm in the area again.
