I shopped Yelp for a car detail and this company offered what I felt was a good deal at $150, I agreed and setup the service call. When they got on site they were very polite and professional but made note that due to dog hair it would be $250 and when they were done it wouldn't be perfect but a LOT better... okay deal.
3 hours later, they finish and this is my own fault but I didn't look deep enough because I don't like to have to ask people to re-do stuff so I look quick and pay them.
After they leave and I go to put the baby seats back in the car I start to notice the vacuum job is not great, the seats were not wiped down well and the dash had something sticky on it still ( yeah... the car was a mess when they arrived ). $250 so I am thinking this must have just been an oversight... let's look around. The outside of the car has dirt on spots still, the rims have dirt still, the front has bugs still AND THEN I fold down the 3rd row in the back to check the dog hair... not even touched.
I reached out and they replied, they offered to redo the missed spots but not the whole car ( despite the whole car was more or less a missed spot ) or to give me the extra $100 back and to be done with it. I agreed to the $100 back but not happy at all that I just paid $150 for one of the worst car washes I have had.
I applaud them for giving the $100 back and I know the guy was here for a long time but i really feel like they should have offered $200 back and that still would have been overpaying.
I ended up taking the car to a brushless hand wash down the street and they got everything he missed and ALL of the dog hair for $39!!
