| - Given the central location (connected to Paris, walkable to Bellagio, Caesar's Palace, Planet Hollywood, and many other hotels) with extremely reasonable prices, it is a pretty functional place to stay if you're not looking to spend a lot of time inside your hotel while vacationing in Vegas. Here are the basics:
Pros:
- Rooms are clean, spacious enough with good sized closet space, desk workspace and vanity. Bathrooms were clean and functional as well.
- Room service is prompt and comes by often so that whenever we came back from breakfast or an AM outing, we always found our rooms cleaned. Room service also responds quickly to calls about needing extra towels, light bulbs, etc.
- Blu Pool has plenty of seating and nice little ledges to sit on while you chill. Half of the pool is 3-5ft and the other side is 11ft+ for people who want to really swim. Tasty drinks and PBJ sandwiches were also on the menu.
- Online check out was quick and easy!
- Low betting minimums (compared to other hotels on the strip) for gambling.
- Ramen-ya (located in their Grand Bazaar -- misleading name as it is not that huge) had some seriously yummy ramen!
Cons:
- No coffeemaker in the room. Really? It's 2015. Even the not-so-nice hotels back home have a coffeemaker.
- Check-in line was the slowest line I've stood in for a while.
- Not much to do within the hotel. Not a lot to see. Paris has some stuff, but it's not super amazing either. What do you expect for the price?
- Tequila Taqueria. So bad it deserved its own review.
- Their salon. Jesus Christ. My friend had a question about whether they had experience doing black hair. Waited forever and a day for a staff member to finally come out and answer her question. And for those who are curious, she never directly answered, she just said "it's okay, it's just flat ironing." A red flag for anyone who knows and takes hair seriously.
