| - This quaint cafe is located conveniently in the middle of Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood and is the perfect study spot for university students living in the area. As a student at Pitt, I frequently took the 61C, 61D, and 59U to the shop, which all drop you off basically right at the front door. Also, with an extensive offering of teas, the menu can please just about anyone... I'd often bring non-tea drinking study partners to the shop, and they were always pleased with their first tea experience, or with the variety of other drinks and snacks available (smoothies, hot chocolate, drip coffee, etc.)
Not living as close to the area anymore, I still visit Te Cafe as often as possible and I'm never disappointed, and I particularly enjoy the addition of the creative seasonal creations that the staff add to the menu... their latest concoction: Maple Mate Latte... delicious. This place is definitely worth the visit.
