I visited this place a couple of days ago for lunch around 2pm in the afternoon. This was the first time I had ever visited this place. Inside is small but very nice as far as the ambience. I opted to sit out on the patio. The view isn't that great as it faces a brick wall that surrounds a community of houses.
The waitress was nice but not overly friendly or helpful. She didn't offer any suggestions or specials or anything of the sort. It was simply -- what would you like to drink and I will give you a few moments to look it over....
I looked the menu over which after asking is the same menu for lunch and dinner. There are some sandwiches/burgers on the menu that are only available for lunch. I wasn't looking for anything heavy so I ended up ordering the Vogue Salad $9 (which is apparently their special salad). I did pay the extra $4 to add steak.
As far as the taste goes - I did enjoy the salad itself. I thought it was very good and fresh. The dressing was delicious. The added steak was a waste of my money. I ordered it medium and it was delivered cooked properly but it just didn't taste good at all. I don't know if it was the quality of the steak, the age, or what...
My total bill was about $18 with tip....I ordered water and a steak salad...I left feeling like I would have been just as happy if not happier going to Paradise Bakery and it would have saved me a few bucks....
