  • Have gone to this location several times for an oil change with no issue. Just took it in and am extemely disappointed. After they took my car back they came and said that they have to use the oil recommended for my car from the maker, and it would cost 70 dollars for an oil change! I came in with a coupon to where it would cost under 20. When I said that they had changed my oil before many times and this had never happened; I was told that they used to use the cheaper non-synthetic oil, but now they can't do that. I call complete B.S. on this whole situation. I either use the dealership that I bought my car from brand new to get my oil changed (I drive a 2013 mid-size Nissan and I bought it from Peoria Nissan), or this Brake Masters location. Whenever I get my oil changed at the dealership it is approx 45 dollars, so 70 dollars is insane. We all know that getting work done at an actual dealership costs a lot more than most places. Whats more, I called my dealership and told them what had happened at this Brake Masters, and they laughed. They said they were glad I drove away because there is no way an oil change on my car should ever be that much. The dealership said this! I'm giving 2 stars, because before today I have had no issues here, but after todays experience I will not be coming back.
