I'm staying here over the July 4th long weekend. While the room is small (suite with two doubles) that is the not the problem. You can tell the hotel is older from the slow elevators. That in itself wouldn't be a problem. However (after checking 4 different rooms) I confirmed with the manager that they've installed technology that shuts the AC down after a period of time when the room sits vacant. As a quasi environmentalist...I wouldn't have an issue. However they apparently didn't change out the old carpet or furniture when they did this. What results? You walk into a room that smells of feet/musty odor. The staff was nice enough...and some rooms smell slightly less bad than others...but after checking into 706, moving to 406, checking out 907 and finally settling on a last room...nice enough just doesn't cut it.
I'd actually like to give higher than a one star...but as i type this, waiting for the musty odor to dissipate...I just can't do it.
