  • Just wanted to give another comment about a new concern. The company sent me a letter in the mail stating a balance of $55 and threatening to send me to Collections. I called and asked what this is about. The CSR, Margie, explained to me that I was charged incorrectly on an order back in October and other letters have been issued, this is not the first. I asked how many times I have placed refill orders since then. She responded with "2". I asked why didn't the company take care of this appropriately then, with those orders? Why am I being threatened to be sent to collections because of a failure from the company and a continual failure to collect appropriately on two other occasions. My question about why wouldn't they just add this to my next bill didn't even bother to come out because I know they would have failed to do their appropriate jobs then too. The best we can all hope for is this company to be shut down. For the insurance companies to truly see the excessive amount of bullshit we as customers have to go through to deal with this company. We don't have options with a lot of insurance companies...we are forced to use these shithole companies like Edgepark and their employees and management then continue to think that everything is perfectly fine since there is a constant flow of business. Seriously Edgepark, fuck you and every one of your employees and management...from the President up top all the way down to the housekeeping staff inside who feel it's ok to work for a company like this. You are all just terrible creatures. (below is my previous comment from 08.20.2013): This company is pathetic. My company switched insurance so I was forced to have to use Edgepark for my insulin pumps and Dexcom blood glucose monitoring system supplies. The initial process was pure terror! Other companies that I have switched to have done the work for you...it's their job to get with the doctors to retrieve the information they need; not Edgepark. I called for the initial conversation with them, which seemed to go ok. I let them know all the information they asked for. I never heard anything back from them to confirm the order to send me my supplies. Three weeks later I finally called them back to see about my order. Edgepark informed me that my prescription is no good to them because the doctor who had written it just a few months prior is no longer my doctor, they need a brand new prescription good for up to a year from a new doctor. With this being the case and it being a surprise to me now, I tried to get in to see a new doctor, which the soonest was 3 weeks out. Edgepark didn't care, didn't try for any "emergency, one-time refills" or anything like that...stuff that I have experienced from other suppliers, even a CVS can do that. The entire experience was just horrific, and by the time I finally received my products I had ran out of the Dexcom sensors 3 weeks prior and I had 2 insulin pumps left (a 6 day supply) so I was sweatin' it pretty hard. Again, no one at Edgepark cared more than to give me their generic "we apologize" BS. Anyone having to switch over to Edgepark due to their insurance company, I feel sorry for you already! Anyone working for Edgepark as a current employee, you are sick and terrible people. You f*** with people's lives since you are their only suppliers and you don't care. You are lucky that you are in Ohio and I am in Las Vegas. If you were here I'd have been at the front door from the very beginning and their'd be hell to pay!
