I just moved to this area and have visited this location twice early in the morning. I'm in customer service and have worked for Starbucks in the past, so I always try to be understanding. My first visit it was 5am and I was in a rush. After arriving at work I noticed my order was incorrect.
After this morning, I will never visit this location again. I got there at 5:30am, I needed my coffee, and was the only person there in the drive thru and I could see no one was inside. I have to order a non-dairy drink since dairy makes me VERY sick. I'm also unfortunately a little dependent on caffeine since I work fairy early. When the girl at the window grabs my drink, I hear her ask the barista if it was non-dairy with a shot of espresso to which the barista replied whining "NO! I didn't know it needed that." She walked away from the window and they talked for what only seemed like 30 seconds, I couldn't see much through the window. The girl came back and said that she confirmed that it had a espresso in it. I asked if it had almond milk because I CANNOT have dairy to which she assured me the order was correct. So I rush off to work cause I've now been sitting in the drive thru for 15 min and I get to work to find that not only does my chai tea latte have regular milk, but no espresso. I honestly can't even taste chai in it. It tastes like semi-warm milk with A TON of foam. The cup was only 3/4 way full.
So now I'm super pissed and I paid over $5 for this drink. I'm sorry if you hate your job, cause you seems to not care at all, but when you work in the food industry you HAVE to take people's orders seriously. Now I wait to see if the one drink I took will get me sick today.
