I'm not huge on gambling but I really enjoy betting small amounts on horses. I love that you can go down to the paddock with your program to see the horses prior to each race and get a sense of them prior to betting. I'm sure it is dumb luck, but I've come away each time winning more than I've lost.
The facilities themselves are well structured with clear sight-lines and information on impending, current and completed races. The food for the Queens Plate is a fantastic experience on its own although the day-to-day fair is not very impressive.
Overall, it is a great excuse to wear searsucker and makes for a fun outing.
