rev:text	It seems an opinion of a hair salon is way too objective for a public review, but the home page asked for it. Like a lot of the reviews, I purchased a Groupon for a great deal on just a condition and cut. Nothing fancy. I dye out of a box like a normal person, thanks. The real disclaimer here is that I haven't had my hair cut in a "salon" in over five years. What? How? My hair is an entity all its own: curly, crazy thick, and oh-geez-how-is-there-this-much-of-it kind of deal. Letting Sarah know this beforehand, she didn't seem miffed about it at all. In fact, I was her last of the night (around 6:30) and she kept apologizing for keeping me waiting for literally under ten minutes when they were crazy busy. Too nice. The salon itself is SMALL. There's a tiny waiting area with clothes for sale for some reason and the owners dogs, Zen and Koana, some moppy, long haired shih tzus, that really wanted no part of the friendship I offered. The rest of it--bathroom, four or five chairs, three sinks--was nice. Clean, a little sterile. Everyone was polite. The only thing that seemed odd was no one acknowledges you without you speaking first. Even the owner didn't so much as go further than a glance towards me waiting. Kind of weird. The cut was done well, simple and quick, exactly what I was looking for. Sometimes it's difficult to get what I want. No big changes here. No more than a few inches off (SHE DIDN'T CUT TOO MUCH OFF! MIRACLES). Like I said, I think an opinion of someone's style of .. styling is too personal for me to recommend. Regardless, I can say Sarah was awesome. Chatted without too much chat, you know? Listened, changed what I asked to be changed without being offended. Overall, I kind of want to try somewhere else next time as I've been out of the hair circuit for a while, but I would return. I swear only a small portion of that is to befriend those aloof little pups.
