| - Bought a groupon deal for $89. But these tour sell for less at vegas, so groupon deal isn't so good. When they mention the value of the tour $179, it would include free show ticket, which you don't get if you order from groupon. So it is not a deal.
Now the trip. We were picked up on time at our hotel, however they seems to be off the location a bit. When they say in front of hotel X it is actually to the side, almost missed the pick up. Pickup was done using a small shuttle, so it was fairly quick.
Then we lined up to confirm our ticket and get our bus assigned, which is 30min.
Free coffee and water while you wait, plus some bread for breakfast.
When we get on the bus, there's a paper on the seat that provide basic info about the trip. One of the information is the expected tip to be given to driver is $12-$15 per person. For real?
We are giving a basic tour of Las Vegas as the driver drive to our destination. It is hard to see anything when you are in a bus.
One of the main stop was hoover dam (15min). This is not enough time to travel around for photos.
Next stop, expensive gift shop and food in the middle of nowhere.
Lunch was medicore buffet salad/soup/fries and some chicken.
Pop in a movie, drive several more hours. Stop by some town, really deserted area.
At grand canyon, we were drop off at a point with a shop, driver come back and pick us up 2 hours later.
Back to vegas where everyone get drop off 1 by one, wow that is a long way home. Imagine you are the last people of the 50 on the bus.
