Trinity-Bellwoods is a perfect urban park. How do I know? Because in the summer it is packed with people and all of the park features are actively used.
Tennis courts, baseball diamonds, kiddie area, off-leash dog area and LOTS of space for playing disc, catch and having picnics.
It marks the boundary between Queen West and West Queen West and Dundas to the north so it benefits from an eclectic, active and attractive crowd. With Queen St to the south it also benefits from an ample number of cute shops and counters to pick up a quick bite to bring to the park and enjoy.
Trinity is great thanks to the wide variety of activities and location but it's still very much a part of the urban experience . If you are looking to escape the urban environment look to High Park or a hike through one of the river systems like Humber or the Don River.
