  • Umm, where has this Fry's been for the past three years?! When I lived in central Phoenix, the nearby Fry's was the first grocery store I found, and I went only to that grocery store for a while until I learned my way around. That Fry's was just a regular grocery store. THIS Fry's in Gilbert on the SWC of Baseline and Gilbert Rds is phenomenal. It's rather like a Whole Foods (a nice grocery store) combined with a piece of Bed Bath & Beyond (a section of kitchen pots, pans, utensils, small appliances) and a piece of a patio store (BBQs, patio furniture) and a piece of TJ Maxx or Homegoods (home decor) and a piece of Barnes & Noble (a small section of books and magazines) and a piece of Petsmart (a pretty nice pet section for a grocery store). The deli is one of the nicest I've seen in a grocery store. There's still a beer/wine/liquor section and florals, and this one also has a Starbucks. The store is just WOW. I'm not sure how often I'll go to any other store now!
