There are certain medical practices that drive me nuts, and one major one is when doctors randomly decide to have "mandatory" screening services (that are NOT medically necessary) with absolutely ZERO warning that you'll have to pay out of pocket for them. The cost of their lens fitting has also literally doubled since the last year I was here, and they also didn't feel the need to mention that before I went in.
Obviously if they had, I would have chosen to go elsewhere and they know that, which is what makes this feel very deceptive.
