I've purchased many things from Best Buy over the course of the last few years and never had any issues until recently. So why the 1 star? Recently it's so bad I can trust them to deliver on things that I will not purchase from them again.
We purchased a refrigerator last Tuesday afternoon. Then they tell us they can't deliver until Saturday evening...annoying but fine. Come Saturday and it's past 8pm and they still aren't there. No call, no text, no nothing. By the time we were done waiting the store was closed and we couldn't get ahold of anyone. We call first thing on Sunday morning to be told "sorry, the truck was in an accident yesterday and theres nothing we can do". We waited to hear back from a manger about what can be done and he says "It will be delivered some time on Tuesday". Tuesday?! A full week later? Mom and pop operations can do better than that, Best Buy! Then when asked how we could get it delivered earlier they recommended coming to pick it up ourselves- don't you think we would have done that LAST Tuesday when we purchased the fridge if we has the ability? Their solution? A $50 Best Buy card that I have to go into the store to pick up...1. I'm not wasting my time in your store again to pick up a card and 2. Your recovery effort is for me to spend more money in your store?! No thanks, Keep your card. I'm giving a 1 star to the employees who at least seemed like they cared but the fact that nothing could be done is ridiculous for a nation wide corporation. That's BS!
We have purchased A LOT of appliances for our house and our rental house over the past few years but never again. Probably will join the ranks of Toys R Us soon!
