This hotel was very wonderful in many ways. The architecture of the building with all of its charm and characteristics was beautiful. Each staff member I interacted with was friendly and more than helpful. They always had smiles on their faces and were always ready to lend a hand or a suggestion for where to go nearby.
The room itself was spacious and clean. The room had ample lighting, a nice sized tv, and a small kitchenette for use. Staff delivered fresh towels not long after checking in and everything was very clean and fresh.
The hotel has Floor "M" which has the breakfast bar, a small arcade, and a pool table in the lounge for guests. The breakfast had many options for everyone and was a big hit with everyone. Plenty to choose from and it's all free!
The biggest drawback of my stay here was the elevators. Due to the age of the building, as to be expected, the elevators were extremely slow and very tiny. There were 4 elevators but not all of them were working at the time. I waited 10 minutes for an elevator to come to my floor before taking the stairs down. Even the few times an elevator did stop at my floor, it was full with about 5 people in it..even less if they had luggage. If you go on a busy weekend, this will definitely be something that holds you up and causes some frustration.
