  • Came here for the very first time with two of my girl friends on a Saturday afternoon. We had made an appointment for 2pm after our lunch over at one of the restaurants in the same plaza. I am no expert with the terminology or the types of nail treatments there are as it was my first time getting my nails done by someone other than myself. I usually do my own nails and paint them all one colour, so having them done for the very first time was an exciting experience. We arrived a little early and were seated at our stations by the owner of the shop. There were a total of 5 stations for nails and a few stations for pedicures behind. She told us to pick the colours we wanted our nails to be done while we waited for her employees to show up for the 2pm appointment. The base price for our nails was $30 and depending on the design it would cost additional. My design cost $15 so my total was $45 plus tax. My friends and I were here for about 2 hours, and this place seemed quite busy. There were people who dropped in, but were turned away without an appointment, so definitely make an appointment before showing up to save yourself the trip. Also show up earlier if you can to give yourself adequate time to look for a parking spot. I had shown the lady who did my nails a photo of how I wanted them done (photo attached). I made some slight changes to the design to the ring finger as I didn't like the original design from the photo. The design was all hand drawn, but I think I would have preferred them to use tape for cleaner lines instead, as straight and thin lines require a steady hand. I had no extensions done since my nails were already quite long so they just trimmed it to the shape of my liking and cleaned up the cuticles. I was a bit surprised with the final product by how thick the coating of nail polish ended up being, but none the less I was pretty happy with the turn out. My friend had told me that the pricing was quite reasonable as she has gone to other places that charged much more for similar designs and service. We'll probably be coming back again to get our nails done together.
