  • Only because I can't stand the Matthews Petsmart, and the people who stand outside everyday begging for money for one donation or another.....(I take in ALL rescues, isn't that enough????) I take the extra time to drive out to this petsmart. They often have good deals of big bags of cat and dog food (when its on sale) Otherwise it is what you would expect of every other Petsmart. It has a Banfield Animal Hospital in the back. The reptile/fish people here tend to be very knowledgeable, to the extent where I get recommendations to local's for odd types of feed, and good local breeders of exotic reptiles. Lets be honest though I always see dead fish in tanks, under-fed sickly looking reptiles.....the minimum wage/minimum trained employees do the best they can with what they are given, but it does not seem good enough. I would never buy an animal from here for fear of neglect although it is a good place for supplies.
